If you’re looking for a weaving in a particular color scheme or size, I’d love to weave something just for you. My goal with every commission is to create something one-of-a-kind that you’ll cherish for years to come. I’ll take your style, preferences, and favorite colors into consideration to create something totally custom.
About my process:
First, you’ll fill out the survey below to give me an idea of what you’re looking for. Please send any reference or inspiration images to emily@nicolaides.com.
I’ll follow up within a week to schedule a time for a free Zoom consultation where we’ll review your request. We’ll meet at our scheduled time to discuss colors, shape, texture, and your personal style. Afterward, I’ll send you a quote and give you as much time as you need to decide.
If you want to move forward, you’ll pay the deposit and I’ll order any necessary materials. Once yarn is aquired, I’ll weave a small sample with the colors we discussed for your approval. Once we’ve nailed down the colors, I’ll begin working on your piece. About halfway through I’ll send you progress photos so you can how it’s going.
When you’re weaving is complete, you will be notified. You’ll receive tracking information once the piece is shipped.
Pricing:
Commissions start at $300 USD or €285 depending on your preferred currency. Discount available if you prefer to pickup from my studio in Limassol, Cyprus.
If you decide you’d like to move forward with the commission, I’ll request a deposit to begin work on the weaving. For the remaining balance, we can either set up monthly payments or you can pay in one lump sum.
